Belisama was discharged from the Alubat rehabilitation service on Monday. She was thrilled to go back to water. However, there was still a long way to go before she could set sail. Especially since she got a raging fever, with temperatures above 40°C.
She was not the only one. A real epidemic in the cat-ways...
This is the Windy prevision for temperatures in France today. As you can see only 27˚C in Sables-d'Olonne.
However, there was no time to rest while we had to rig the boat completely, update all the drivers of the navigation instruments, without forgetting to load the nautical charts of the Mediterranean in anticipation of the fall migration.
So, she is back on waters. Kaja and the crew is arriving tomorrow, and we set sail on Sunday mid-day for the Ile de Ré, a 20 nautical mile ride south of Sables d'Olonne.
