Ulvön, 22 & 23 July 2016 - 63°1.287'N 18°39.179'E

Ulvön is one of the most touristic island in the Högakusten world heritage park. It is absolutely worth the trip! There are three marinas that were fully occupied when we arrived. This gave us the opportunity to test for the first time our "Swedish mooring" to the rocks. More impressive than difficult!

Being part of the high coast (högakusten), climbing on the top of the island give a nice perspective on Ulvöhamn, the harbour.

On the top of the island is an old pilot station no longer used. The small house on the picture below was the point where the pilots were monitoring the traffic around.

The Ulvöhamn hotel, marina and swimming pool. Hard to find a place at the marina...

Intense traffic in the bay, and not just by ships.
