Trysunda kapell - 20 July 2016

The Trysunda chapel was built in the 1600's by the fishermen from Gävle.

We went there following the posting by Cybele 17 indicating a "coup de coeur". And indeed, it is a "coup de coeur"...

The key is on the top right side of the door, as usual.
All walls, but the ceiling, are painted.

Moses and the burning bush, which is often a symbol of the reformed churches: "burning, but not consumed..."
The adoration of the Magi
The triumphal entry of Jesus in Jerusalem
Jesus in Gethsemane
The binding of Isaac
Eve and the apple
The last supper
Saint Georges and the dragon
Ex-voto
