This its the reverse trip as the one that took place at the end of September, when I brought back La Malouine from Löparö to Rangsta. In September, Käringholmen had long been abandoned by mating cormorans, and was left to her ghost status after life was pretty much killed by their dejections. End of May, June is the bird mating time, and thousands of them are nesting on such islands in the archipelago. You can smell them miles ahead...
