Reposaari (61.617557, 21.442394) was not planned as a stopover on our way to Rauma as we are running a bit short ofttimes to be in Kustavi on Sunday morning to welcome Johan and Suzanne for a week onboard. But there was no wind and we decided to stop there while waiting for better trade winds.
And we liked it. Just have a look...
The pathway to Reposaari is a bit shallow, 1.2 metres as mentioned on the Eniro nautical charts and on Sailmate. No problem though with Belisama, which could moor alongside on the external pontoon...

Reposaari is another of the Lilliput towns, with just about a thousand residents. Reposaari is a very quiet island though it is known for having established a "siesta" between one and two in the afternoon.
The church was built in 1876.
Interestingly, the crucifix is made of "bois flootés", pieces of wood brought by he sea on the shore in the area.
The paintings on the ceiling of the church are dating from 1876.
On Reposaari, there used to be a fortress that can be visited today. But that fortress was funded by local residents on the island and remains the only privately funded artillery fortress in Finland. The construction of the fortress was achieved in 1935. Today remains the trenches and the bunkers used by the fortress.

There is an observation tower that was rebuilt but it does not allow looking at the landscape over the trees around.
