Last sailing before the winter - 13 November 2016

Last of the last for 2016. Temperature today was 1°C. Belisama had to get out in order to fill the tank for the winter, as it is advised to reduce as much as possible the air in the tank in the winter to avoid condensation. Therefore, a short 30 minutes ride to one of the fuel pump open at this time of the year!

Last week, we got the largest fall of snow in more than one century in Stockholm, for this time of the year. Half a meter in less than 24 hours! I was on a business trip for two weeks, but François (Cybèle 17) took good care of Belisama, sending me pictures as the snow starts to fall.

Tuesday 8 November, afternoon.

 By next morning, already a good 20 centimetres. François nicely reeves all snow from her! The spread hood was suffering because the incredible weight of the snow having fallen over it.

Wednesday 9 November morning

François today helped me to go refilling the tank and parking Belisama for the winter in Wasahamnen. Thanks++

When all of this happened, I was on a business trip in Asia, yet cruising, but different type of cruising :-).
