To Mljet, through Loput, 11-12 June 2023

On the 11th of June I changed crews and came on board with Ebba and Theo, who will accompany me to Split. They are both experienced sailors and it is a great relief to have such a good crew!

On the 11th we head for Lopud, just 5 miles from Dubrovnik, to familiarise the crew with the boat.

After a very quiet night in Lopud, we head further north west to the Mljet National Park, arriving around 16:30 after a day of very disappointing winds.

After a very quiet night in Lopud, we continue north-west towards the Mljet National Park, arriving around 16:30 after a day of very disappointing winds. I have never felt so uncomfortable on such a small yacht since I started sailing in the Mediterranean.

The next day we head out to Mjelt National Park, a 25 nautical mile ride in yet another disappointing breeze. We anchored there at about 17:00, after a day of being either at a standstill or on the engine.

This is where we are by now, on our way to Pula. Not much left after 1168 nm since we left Toulon!
