Well, 2019 is the year of my retirement from my job in the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. As a result of being a new retiree, I have never been that busy, as François from Cybèle 17 has always told me I will.
After atour of Europe in my car (7,500 km), I had to get Belisama off water for the cleaning and antifouling of the hull. A hell of a job as this is exponentially related to the size of the boat.
Yet, she went back to waters fully cleaned and taken care off, so happy...
Before these few days off waters, the had two weekends where we went to Artipelag, as we do every year at the start of the season, with friends. The disappointment was that there are no exhibitions this time in Artipelag, as the next one will take one month to be installed!!
Yet, on 30 May, we started our round trip to the gulf of Bothnia with a a first stop in Sandhamn because of strong winds, followed by a fantastiskt evening in Svenska Högarna. The day after on 1st June, we moved to Fejan, with 30 knots of pleasant down winds.

Fejan was closed, with a lot of work going on ahead of the season. We spent the night there with power. Very nice.
More to come after this initial steps on our way out there for the season...
