Winter work

As of today, days are longer in Sweden, as we have passer the winter solstice. Well, this will give us a day of six hours and five minutes. Not much, but quite appreciated.

As for temperature, we are constantly above 10°C, which will impose to Swedish meteorologists to revise their definitions... Indeed, spring is considered starting in Sweden when the temperature has been constantly over 0°C for seven consecutive days!

Four O'clock on Sveavagen

Good time then to make some improvements to Belisama. First, I change the four crepines for Plastimo ones, which will allow getting the extra litre out of the holds.

Then, I reorganize the dashboard in the cockpit. The VHF remote handset is removed, to be placed at the helm, and a handmaid will be added as soon as it arrives. The screen is changed for a better one, and the electric plug moved under the cockpit table.

In addition, a new tap at the sink, for drinkable water. I have installed a new 100 litre tank in the holds, for drinking and cooking, as I am not that excited by drinking the water from the aluminium tanks. You can see on the left the deck filler for drinkable water. I will get the hose through the window...

Finally, I am struggling to get the anodes for the maxprop propeller. As François on Cybele has the same issue, I send him the description of mine, in case he finds one during his winter explorations.
